EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS & RESPONSE

Emergency preparedness and response is about planning, training and testing emergency plans to assure that the many public safety agencies and private stakeholders develop synchronous response plans that are tested similarly and regularly to assure they remain relevant to the times.

Why HSEEP?

The Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) is a capabilities- and performance-based exercise program that provides a standardized policy, methodology, and terminology for exercise design, development, conduct, evaluation, and improvement planning.

Your emergency preparedness program may not require that it be HSEEP-compliant, and we can help you with that too. But testing your emergency systems through an HSEEP-compliant exercise can qualify your agency for a grant. Also, the best vehicle for getting the many actors working in harmony is the national HSEEP standard. So, even when your emergency program does not need to comply with HSEEP standards, you’ll benefit from using our HSEEP-certified practitioners. We work with:

   > Hazardous Materials Response Units

   > Emergency Medical Service Providers

   > Urban Search and Rescue Teams

   > Hospital Emergency Services

Properly designed and executed HSEEP exercises can be complex and daunting. We can help you simplify these projects by providing the creativity and the technical writing to support the initial design and development for standard operating procedures and exercise programs. And when your goal is to maintain compliance, we provide continual assistance.

Development of Standard Operating Procedures

Time is always of the essence when it comes to providing emergency services. Lost time can mean lost lives. We specialize in designing and developing standard operating procedures for emergency service organizations. We start with your baseline procedures and then conform them to a standard format for deployment, from command and control to operating units.
